This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students LOVE reading. As we ease Covid restrictions, I'm excited to create an inviting and calm area for children to enjoy a little time for reading. I'm asking for a shelf to place a variety of books for students to select from.
I am also asking for a set of cozy and wipeable couches so that students feel relaxed while enjoying a good book.
I love that they are wipeable as it allows us to keep them sanitized between students. Lastly I'm asking for a small rug to complete the space. Creating this space will encourage students to explore the wonders of an enjoyable book.
