My Students

I am a Social Worker who services an elementary school. My students are creative, energetic, goal centered and determined. They are full of personality and enjoy sharing their experiences. My students are special because they all bring unique qualities which enhances the learning environment. All of my students come from the same community, which is in an urban area and from a lower social economic bracket. However, despite their lack they are always eager to learn.

As a social worker, my job is to address the student’s social emotional competence; however, this is difficult many times due to challenges they face daily.

My goal is to provide my students with strategies to help them develop, skills to overcome personal and social barriers. I want them to develop positive relationships; teach them ways to manage their emotions and to learn good decision-making skills so they can become responsible students.

My Project

I am a school social worker. In my school I have noticed my students struggle with having a balance of healthy emotional state and meeting their educational goals. My goal is to bridge that disconnect. I want to create a balance and peaceful mindset.

My role as a Social Worker is to look at the whole child.

These social emotional tools will help achieve this goals. These Mindful books and other resources will give my kids strategies towards positive outcomes. Your assistance in bringing a Calm Mind to my students will be meaningful and beneficial. Please help me in my endeavors to making a peaceful mindset.
