My Project

Our middle school library should be a space where every student feels welcome, comfortable, and inspired. For many students, the library is one of the only quiet places they can go during the day to unwind, catch their breath, or explore personal interests. We want to make this space even more accessible and meaningful by offering engaging, hands-on activities and adding simple tools that make the library easier to use and enjoy.

Many of our students prefer passive, low-pressure ways to engage, especially those who may be anxious, shy, or overwhelmed by the fast pace of the school day.

That’s why we’re introducing quiet activities like puzzles, coloring, interactive questions, and independent challenges that promote reflection and creativity without requiring students to perform or compete.

Alongside these activities, we also want to make the library more user-friendly. With your support, we hope to add small but impactful items like clear signage, book displays, repair tools, supply organizers, and suggestion boxes—so students can feel empowered to use the space independently, comfortably, and confidently.

These small touches will go a long way in turning the library into more than just a place to read—it will become a calm, student-centered environment where learners of all styles and personalities feel seen, supported, and inspired.
