My Project
Our classroom is a nurturing, inclusive space designed to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other exceptionalities. Here, we prioritize creating a safe, structured, and compassionate environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Our classroom is thoughtfully arranged to meet a variety of sensory and learning needs, featuring visual schedules, calm-down areas, and differentiated workstations that promote independence and engagement.
Each student is celebrated for their unique strengths, and learning plans are personalized to ensure meaningful progress at every level. My students need a rug for morning meetings and read alouds. They will as need a sweeper because any paper or dirt on the rug will distract them.
Through a blend of hands-on activities, social skills development, and individualized instruction, our classroom fosters a culture of acceptance, encouragement, and growth. Every day is an opportunity to build confidence, form connections, and celebrate each student’s journey. This rug will help students on their educational journey.
