Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In creating a calm and enjoyable classroom community, it's important to me to keep colors natural, materials simple, and make collaborative work spaces for students. I strive to bring nature and simple aesthetics into our room to help little minds work in a calm setting.
These tables will allow student collaboration, the storage bins and drawers will enable students to have independence in retrieving and organizing supplies, and our classroom will further become a learning space where we all love to spend time together!
I am excited to see kids working together on writing assignments, feeling ownership in getting their own math supplies and counters, and sharing in their learning this year.
