This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

After being out of commission for a few years, our kiln is back in action! We are currently making little clay mushroom houses. We're also hoping to paint some murals in the future. We are in need of glaze and acrylic paint to complete these projects.

I'm hoping to finish the year in a burst of colorful creativity!

I'd like to send my students home with some vibrant clay pieces. I want them to be proud of their work. I hope that seeing these pieces will leave them excited to return to art next year.
