My Project

I teach a class of gifted third graders who are curious, creative, and full of big ideas. They love asking deep questions, thinking outside the box, and challenging themselves (and me!) every day. What makes them so special is their energy and enthusiasm for learning, but they each have unique needs regarding how they learn best. Some need to move around while they think, while others focus better when they can sketch out their ideas or use their hands to build.

This project will help create a classroom environment that truly supports how they learn.

Flexible seating like floor cushions and wobble stools will give students more choice and comfort, helping them focus and feel at home in their space. Supplies like dry erase boards, markers, crayons, and colored pencils will let them express their ideas in colorful, creative ways. STEM games and building tools will challenge them to solve problems, work together, and grow as thinkers.

My goal is to create a classroom that meets their needs, fuels their curiosity, and makes learning exciting every single day. With your support, we can build a space that’s not just about school, but about wonder, confidence, and possibility.
