This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a preschool teacher who works with 18 amazing special needs students! I would love to have all of my students who are nonverbal use different ways of communicating their needs and wants and engage in interactive reading activities with adapted books. With this project, I intend to create individualized bins with colored copy materials and visuals to address my students IEP goals and objectives. I will also print adapted books with different life skills for my preschoolers to engage in small and large group activities. By individualizing materials, I will be able to create lessons, laminate visuals that support my students learning styles while promoting independence and self-awareness of tasks provided. Please support my preschoolers as my school is in a low-income community (Title 1 school).
