Help me give my students a bright and cheerful classroom to return to after more than a year of learning remotely from home. This includes storage pouches, supply caddies, and other items.
My first grade students are eager to return to in person learning after more than a year of learning remotely at home! Having missed part of their pre-k and whole kindergarten year in school, I want to welcome them to the brightest and most cheerful classroom!
My Project
A classroom is a second home for students. I'm excited to welcome my students to their classroom "home" after they have been learning remotely for over a year. Learning without the appropriate school materials have made learning a challenge for most of my students.
All these materials will support the students’ emotional and academic needs.
Moreover, these materials will help create a bright, and cheerful home where learning and fun can take place. It will help the students to feel positive and excited to learn. The colorful bean bag chairs will give students an alternative place to sit for reading, calming down, or have conversations with peers. The rainbow themed borders will go with our kindness theme - Be a rainbow in someone's cloud. Teaching about kindness and spreading kindness will be a priority. The colorful paper trays will excite the students to write when they reach for paper at the writing center. The sensory toys will calm students that need a break.
