My Project
Being a special education classroom, we have various needs regarding students' environments. We are a great classic school from the 50s, which is lovely but means we don't have multiple lighting options. It has been brought to my attention that some of our students have needs when it comes to lighting. Many of my students struggle with the fluorescent overhead lighting. So I have started working with my students to find a solution to help them feel more comfortable. Our students said they would like more control over the lighting source. So they can adjust the light as needed. We are lucky to have some natural light that streams through our windows. However, sometimes the students would like to add extra light. The solution they have come up with is Battery Operated Lamp Rechargeable Outdoor Table Lamp. This way, they are in control of their lighting needs.
If they need more light, they can turn it on, or if they are having a Photophobic day or struggling with sensory overload.
For days like this, having many options that have variety is essential. That is why having something like a Touch Sensor Bedside lamp that is dimmable and uses warm white light would be so helpful. Having dimmable lighting strips is also an excellent option for our classroom, like the Led Strip Lights with warm white light. We can use this around the board to bring more light or even under a table or in our reading nook to help students have that control and create a comfortable and enjoyable learning environment. Please help make our classroom where students feel their needs are met.
