A Breath of Fresh Air is Good for Our Health

Help me give my students personal earbuds for their computers and clean filtered air as we will have trouble spacing our desks this year.

My Students

My second graders love being at school and in the classroom doing many of the activities that are planned throughout the day. My students are in the Chinese Immersion program. They learn English, reading and writing half of the day with me and math in Chinese the other half of the day with my Chinese speaking partner. They live in a middle-class neighborhood. My class is made up of diverse students, each with different learning abilities. Many of my students have siblings in our school and the parents are very involved with their education.

My Project

These air filters will be used to help sanitize the air in the classroom. We want to be able to have our students stay healthy so that they will continue to learn in the classroom and lessen the possibility of absences due to viruses.

Research tells us that attendance is one of the critical factors of academic success.

The Medify MA - 25 B2 Medical grade Filtration system has a 99.9% particle removal and is considered medical grade air filtration. With our classrooms at full capacity, an air filtration system will help keep students safe this year.

We also would like to keep our students safe as they learn on their Chrome Books with personal earbuds that they will not have to share.
