Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items requested will greatly help with the focus of my students. It is easy to have so much extra energy, and it is very difficult to focus that energy sometimes in a purely academic way. I have always found Bouncy Bands to be a great tool for students to self manage and redirect their energy. It helps them literally bounce it away, especially when confused, stressed, or over stimulated.
My students are mainly newcomers to the United States, thus any tool that will help them is most beneficial.
Adding the bouncy bands to chairs will make them feel very special as they will help make the class a better place to be. It will help relax the environment and continue the important work of their journey here.
