My Project
Summer learning loss is a top concern amongst educators across the nation, so I am trying to combat the issue head on by providing my students with a summer novel. Students in my classroom like to read about different cultures and characters that they can identify with. My school library doesn't have a large collection of these books, so I would like provide them with these books that will hold their interests and keep them reading throughout the summer.
Students who read these novels will find reading relatable and begin to read more for enjoyment!
Helping students learn that reading is fun is perfect way to build better readers, and this summer reading project will do just that. My students will love getting their hands on these books.
