My Project
My students gain so much more when they can interact with materials while we learn. I would love to give them books to hold while we are reading in our large group learning times. Sometimes though, we struggle with paper pages in books: they can be too thin for my students to grasp or to flimsy to stand up to some of the more frantic behaviors my students may demonstrate. Board books are amazing because the pages are thick enough for students to grab easily and they are very durable.
The books I have requested follow along with several of our upcoming themes and would be a delightfully interactive addition to large group.
I have also selected some materials that will make teaching sequencing while reading more digestible!
