My Project
My students are very interested in reading independently and together as a class. Reading whole group is sometimes undervalued. Providing each student with a copy of the class novel, Spiderwick Chronicles Book 1 will allow them to follow along during our read aloud time. With their own copies, students tend to get more involved in the book and the story when doing whole group novels.
My students love to let their imaginations run wild while reading these books together.
These class novels allow teacher led discussions, that turn into student led discussion as the book progresses. This also is a great activity for building and keeping a close classroom community.
