My Project
I love that students are learning that it is ok to look different from one another. I want my students to see themselves in books they read and the stories we talk about in our classroom.
When students see themselves in a book, they feel empowered to become whoever they want to be!
I want all students to feel seen and heard.
The books need a safe place to live! They need a shelf all of their own where they can be used for years to come. Books and storage are always a necessity in a first grade classroom!
