My Project

It's that time of year! For one, it's my birthday in January! Plus, we've come back from winter break, and some of our classroom supplies are looking a little sad. Kids are filling up their journals, their folders are fraying, the crayons are in pieces if they haven't disappeared entirely.

So for my birthday this year, I'm asking for your help sprucing up our supplies in first grade, so that we can give our future nation builders the supplies that they deserve!

I'm the ELL (English language learner) teacher for first-grade, and along with my ELA co-teacher, we are preparing our scholars with the foundation in reading and writing that they'll need for success in later grades, college, and beyond.

Many of my students come from households where they can't necessarily afford to bring these supplies to school themselves, and in that case, my co-teacher and I step in to make sure they've got what they need. Any help you can provide is much appreciated!
