Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We love our library area however right now it is a bit small. We don't have updated books or any interactive reading materials (safari animals, busy book, sticker book) that my students use to help engage in early phonological awareness. I would love to add these materials to our quiet area so that the students have an opportunity to engage, play, and read other materials than books because sometimes we need more sensory than a book. Students love these types of sensory materials that can be used in the library area as they are phonics related!
