it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students will walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. We are a true melting pot as my students come from all walks of life and different cultures.
My Kindergartners are brilliant and highly motivated.
They are full of joy!
As my students make gains in my classroom, they begin to try small chunks of the day with their typically developing peers. The work we do in this classroom is building relationships, staying with the group, following directions, and accessing general education content in two languages (English/ Spanish). We celebrate little wins together each day in both languages.
My Project
There are so many useful resources available to help our students grow and learn using technology. The screen projector will enhance my students learning experience.
We would use this projector daily for all content areas, and it would change the dynamic in my classroom in an incredible way by providing a visual stimulus.
We will show slideshows, games, and virtual anchor charts in a safer and more sensible part of our classroom. In a combination with the screen projector, the speaker will allow my students to hear what is projected at any time. The printer will serve as a resource to have all materials on time for my students. Our school provides Copy machines but teacher will need to line up to make copies and as you may know teacher's time is precious.
My students are often required to complete lots of writing, math projects, guided reading activities and more for my class. Teachers will use the printer to print pictures and graphs to go along with their writing or art projects. Therefore, we are asking for a new printer so that we are able to continue completing projects successfully.
