My Students
Our students are in first grade both in general and special education and they love to learn! They come to school each and every day looking forward to exploring the world around them with their teachers and peers. Our class is a diverse group of children from all over the world. We spend our days reading, writing, and doing math. In addition, we work together to create a friendly community in our classroom and around the school. We love to be in school!
My Project
This year, more than ever, my students need to feel safe and comfortable when they’re in school and in the classroom. They need their own markers, and other supplies so that they don’t have to share and are able to avoid passing germs to one another. In addition, my students need to be able to look around their classroom and feel happy. By using the pink and lime green border paper, I feel that the students will feel calmer and more relaxed. This is going to be a monumental year, filled with a lot of anxiety and I’m trying to alleviate the students’ fears and foster their social-emotional growth. A beautiful classroom is a good start!
