My Project

As we prepare to close out a school year I am making way for a new group of fantastic first graders! The 22-23 school year will also conclude my first year of teaching. I have learned a lot alongside my students and have compiled a list of materials to help move forward.

These materials will help provide a warm and inviting feel to our classroom.

A home away from home. These materials include pillows for our calm-down corner that helps with SEL. A library shelf that doubles as a seating area for the students to have in our class library. This past year I had a bean bag chair that busted so this is greatly needed as it provides organization and durability. The decorative borders and posters are to give a stylish feel to the room while encouraging the students with motivational quotes. There are also a few teacher supplies included like a record book and file folders to organize student info.

The class set of headphones will help students be able to listen to instructional games and take assessments online. Without having to pass around the set of ten that I purchased on my own. It gives accessibility to all students.

Overall, I want to not only have a well-decorated class but a functional class that is easy to navigate for all students.
