This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am kindly asking for books from the series, Biscuit.

With these books, my students will see all the adventures that he has.

They are enjoyable and tell the tale of a little puppy named Biscuit.

In Kindergarten, we do not have readers that are enjoyable to students. By having the Biscuit books students can independently read on their own about Biscuit. Since there will be various titles with the series in the basket, students will be entertained with the character. They would want to continue reading in the series to see what the little puppy does next.

By having a series that is loved by students, students develop a greater love of reading.
