A Baseball Card Adventure

My students need 14 copies of various baseball books to read in the library.

This project is fully funded

I teach at a small school in Southern Indiana. We struggle, like all schools, trying to purchase useful materials while still maintaining a budget. As a teacher, I want my students to have everything that they are interested in learning. I don’t want to exclude any materials that my students can benefit from.

So many students want the same book that many books are never available. Some books are also worn and have not been returned, therefore many series are not complete. Our school does not have the funds to replace and expand these materials.

I am writing this grant to add baseball books to our library. Our boys are interested in a new series called "Baseball Card Adventures." These are historical fiction books that include famous baseball players. These books hook our most challenging readers and help improve their reading skills.

I need your donation to ensure our boys have reading materials that interest them. I want to make sure they all are able to read this new series as well as other baseball material. Please help me ensure our boys are not excluded by not having interesting material available.
