Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our baseball team is excited to improve our hitting skills with the help of The New Pro Turtle, a 21st Century Batting Cage Turtle complete with a royal blue vinyl skirt, rib cushions, and a thud pad. This batting cage setup provides a safe, durable, and realistic environment where our players can practice hitting without worrying about stray balls or damage. The protective cushions and vinyl skirt ensure the cage is sturdy and secure, allowing players to focus fully on their swing mechanics and timing during every practice session.
Having this equipment will make a huge difference in our players’ learning because it creates a controlled space where they can take numerous practice swings, receive immediate feedback, and build confidence at the plate.
Our goal is to help every player develop better hand-eye coordination, improve batting techniques, and increase their consistency during games. With regular use of this batting cage, we can foster a culture of hard work, precision, and team support.
Our students are dedicated athletes who show incredible passion and determination. Many of them balance academics, family responsibilities, and sports, but they always give their best effort on the field. These players are eager to grow their skills and learn the value of perseverance and teamwork. By providing them with The New Pro Turtle batting cage, donors will be investing in their future success both in baseball and in life.
