My Students
Ms. P I would really like to learn more about the Civil War do you have any books I can borrow? Of course let me check! Hmm I don't it see maybe someone else already borrowed it. With Intelliscanner my students will know what books we have, that they can enjoy reading.
I teach a wonderful group of Fourth graders at a rural, Title I elementary school.
More than 50 percent of the students at my school receive free or reduced lunch. My classroom is one that is diverse in learning styles, cultures, and interests. It is the varied backgrounds of my students that evokes wonderful classroom discussions and allows my students to learn from their peers perspectives respectfully.
My Project
With a media organization system in place, my students will be able to have information about the books that they select to read. Who knew that the ISBN number could decipher everything from the number of pages a book has to the genre of a book? Well, the Intelliscanner will allow our classroom library to be organized with easy access to location of books we have in our classroom. The Intelliscanner even has a "Friends" lending tools which can be used to track books that students are reading.
Your donations will provide our class with the tools of the trade for maintain a classroom library.
It will also allow me to support my students by bringing great literature into their hands.
