Help me give my students an adjustable easel, chart paper, and markers to create anchor charts that allow students to actively see what they're learning.
My students are full of curiosity and the drive to learn. I teach in a Philadelphia school and these students come from a variety of backgrounds. We always work together to solve any problems we might have. There are multiple classes for each grade and I teach reading and writing.
Each day students come to school excited to overcome any challenge that comes their way!
English can be a very tricky subject but my students do not let that stop them. They always try their best and try to find help when needed. The students use what they learn to become leaders both inside and outside the classroom.
My Project
Anchor charts when used effectively have been shown to help focus student learning.
A well-created anchor chart will allow students to quickly access important information about the topic they are learning.
It is important to create anchor charts with students. The easel will allow me to have a central and stable location to create anchor charts with my students before they are hung up around the room.
Chart paper makes it very easy to create anchor charts as it is much larger than normal paper and can be easily seen by all students. The markers will be used to create the charts in bright and visible colors.
