My Project

"Wonder," by R.J. Palacio, is an excellent choice for a class book study due to its powerful themes of empathy, kindness, and acceptance. The story of August Pullman, a boy with a facial difference, allows students to explore complex social issues, such as bullying and inclusivity, in a relatable context. It encourages critical thinking and discussion about how we treat others and the importance of seeing beyond appearances. Additionally, its engaging narrative and diverse perspectives foster a deeper understanding of character development and narrative voice, making it a valuable tool for enhancing literacy skills.
