Help me give my students at our school a 90-second timer for each of their classrooms. These timers will be used in the classroom as a visual aide as we learn how to calm down in 90-seconds.

My Students
The students at my school generally come from low economic backgrounds. Most students crave that extra support from other adults around the school. Also, these students need some extra guidance academically, behaviorally, and/or socially.
As the resource teacher/special educational teacher, I have the pleasure to work with students in a smaller group setting, giving my students that extra support that they crave academically, behaviorally, and/or socially.
I have the opportunity to meet each of my student's individual needs to help ensure success in that child and to see them explore the feeling of accomplishment that every child wants to achieve.
My Project
What is the 90 second rule?
"When a person has a reaction to something in their environment, there is a 90 second chemical response that happens in the body; after that any remaining emotion response is just the person choosing to stay in that emotional loop.
Something happens in the external world and chemicals are flushed through your body which puts it on full alert. For those chemicals to fully flush out of the body it takes less than 90 seconds." - My Stroke of Insight, Dr. Jill Botle Taylor
While our school is learning about the brain and how our brain connects to our emotions, we need 90 second timers for each classroom to put in our tab-out and tab-in tables for students to use as a visual during their 90 second calming break.
More than half of students from low‑income households
