8th Graders Taking Physics Need Calculators!

My students need to each have their own calculator (class set needed).

I teach a new curriculum to 8th graders called PHYSICS FIRST! It is "conceptually based" learning where students link their prior knowledge with their in-class investigations to truly understand the concepts being taught. And I believe it works! It is truly inspirational to see an 8th grader understand that they can find the acceleration of a moving object based on a speed-time graph, just by calculating the slope! Or when they truly understand the relationship between mass, volume and density. We just need basic calculators for every student so each individual can explore these mathematical relationships--for themselves--and fully grasp the concepts. I am such a believer of this style of learning. I want to ensure that each of my students has the best learning environment and scientific foundation going into high school. Thank you for your consideration.
