This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are eager to learn but are limited in resources. These 180 students live in a rural area where enrichment and engaging activities are limited, the only place they have access to these kinds of activities is school. We are a Title I school with 100% of our students qualifying for free or reduced-price meals.

Students love showing the learning in a visual manner.

Every time I give them choices to show their learning, they decide to make a poster or some sort of visual.

My Project

Teacherspayteachers has outstanding activities that will help students learn very abstract concepts. Students will be getting wonderful science labs, activities, etc. will allow my students to stay engaged. Being able to buy resources from TPT which will allow me to reinforce topics learned during my teaching.

Task cards, vocabulary flashcards, lab activities, web-quests, etc will allow my students to maximize their learning.Students will be performing these activities alone, in pairs or in groups to allow for collaboration.

These activities will allow students to choose on how they want to show the learning. The more activities that are available, the better the bank for them to choose form.
