Greetings! What can I say? I teach 63 of the most incredible, nicest, and hard working 7th graders that you will ever meet!
Now it's time to challenge them to exceed their own expectations.
These young men and woman come from diverse backgrounds, but share a common goal to succeed. With your help, we can help the experience the joy of a classic science fiction novel. This is an opportunity for them, which may be the catalyst to opening their appetite for reading, and believing; something that only a great book can bring.

My Project
The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury is an original classic work of science fiction that will help my students improve their reading skills, vocabulary, and most importantly... their creative thinking skills. We will read, discuss, and research all aspects of this incredible novel. To a seventh grader, the pages of this book will come alive, and hopefully light the spark to a future of endless possibilities. Please help them learn, think, improve their vocabulary and reading comprehension skills. The books will be used as a class set, to be shared and enjoyed by both classes.
