My Project
I love how resilient the learners I work with have been in the last few years. I have started a new position with 7th-grade Emotional Support. Study after study shows that students cannot learn if they do not feel safe nor can they learn if they are worried about food. Snacks will provide access to food when hungry.
Throughout the years of teaching, I have seen students be able to emotionally regulate more easily when we have their basic needs met.
I have also seen an increase in relationships because students know the teachers in the buildings care about them. These snacks and mints will be used for students in need.
This classroom project was brought to life by LOFT
and one other donor.
