My Project
This year the 6th graders will be doing a Project Lead the Way unit in technology class called Design and Modeling! It is a fantastic way to expose kids to the design process and get them thinking like scientists and engineers!
This new approach to teaching the tech class is very resource rich.
We need lots of consumable supplies for making 3D models and prototyping inventions! Making things will require duct tape, masking tape, Velcro strips and tacky glue for connecting things together. For building things the following supplies will be helpful from our requested list: Foam sheets, felt sheets, and string. For accurately fabricating things we will also need box cutters and rulers.
