This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would like to do a STAAR Prep in preparation for the upcoming 6th grade Math STAAR. Each student would receive an engraved dog tag with their name and goal on it. Students will then be able to earn additional engraved tags once they have mastered a concept. For example, they have a day reviewing integers and if student masters, they will receive an engraved Integer dog tag. Students will have the opportunity to earn a total of 16 additional dog tags. Students will be allowed to wear these during school hours; teachers and students will be encouraged to ask them about their achievements (let them brag).
