My Project

I strongly believe that play is the best way to learn. Through the materials provided by the makers space, the students will be able to have unlimited access to any hands-on manipulatives they may need throughout their day-to-day learning. We created our list together as a class to try to meet all students' needs and desires. Students will be able to use these supplies to make math visual, build structures from an ancient civilization, and bring their writing to life. Since COVID-19, these students truly need as much support and hands-on movement as possible, so much of their schooling over the past few years has been behind a screen! The standing desk will allow students to learn in a comfortable and flexible setting. The wheels will allow them to move the desk to different areas while they explore hands-on learning. Let's bring play and fun back into the classroom!
