This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The COVID-19 affected students and educators in various ways. Students lost a lot of direct instruction because of the barriers during the time of the pandemic. Students did not receive the amount of time in the classroom that was needed. Because of this, students didn’t have many opportunities for collaboration with their peers in addition to choice reading to foster their love for reading. With the donation, I can have more supplies for creativity in the classroom. I can also supply students with more novels they can love and read.
