Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are primary PK-5th grade who live in a low income high risk environment. 100% of my students receive free breakfast and lunch everyday. All of my students love coming to school, but they don't have the support or resources at home to build upon their school day.

I give my students the skills they need to have a happy healthy life in hopes that they will take it with them wherever they go.

My Project

My physical education classes will be growing this year in size and are in need of a new curriculum. I am asking for the Spark k-2nd PE Curriculum Set. This program will allow my students to learn new rigorous activities that will help them become more active in their daily life.

Giving low income students the tools to live a healthy active life will improve their physical and emotional needs and meeting their physical and emotional needs will reduce behavior problems and increase learning in the classroom.

My physical education budget has been drastically cut in the past year. Without the help of generous donors, we can not afford even the most basic supplies. Please help me to get my students the supplies they need for a successful Physical Education program.
