My Students

I work for the Worcester Public Schools. My classroom is self-contained, catering to students who have severe learning disabilities. My classroom is made up of 15 students with very diverse needs. Our school has divided the students into three learning groups for the upcoming school year. Special needs students will return for in-person learning for the 2020-21 school year.

All students needs are individualized to meet their specific learning/health needs.

Due to the coronavirus, resources are very limited as we have more students than ever before. There have been district-wide cutbacks, leaving it extremely difficult to acquire the necessary supplies for my special education students. Students lack the materials they need and deserve to be successful. Your donations would be going to the most amazing group of students!

My Project

Students in my Life Skills will be arriving to a new school building in two short weeks. Unfortunately our home school has been deemed unfit for return during this time. We have recently learned PPE is very limited. Because of this, I am in need of student masks and desk shields. All of my students are low income. I fear they will not come to school with masks that fit proper, or they may only have one!

I want to offer my students fun masks that fit and make them feel confident and safe to learn!
