My Students
My students are 5th graders in the greater Los Angeles area at an Affiliated Charter School which is also a School for Advanced Studies. My students come from different socio-economic status and most are in the working middle class.
My students love to utilize technology enhancing the learning process.
They are a great group who work hard and love to showcase their work. My students are being challenged to type essays and publish Power Points as they prepare for middle school. The entire 5th grade is moving towards utilizing Google Drive, Google Classroom and honing their overall computer skills which will benefit them not only through their educational years but professional years as well.
My Project
Having a Brother Printer and refill toner will ensure the 5th graders will not run out of supplies as all 76 print reports and essays. Students will be able to type and print essays and reports in the classroom instantly when finished. Students will have instant access to their finished work and be able to proudly display it within the classroom and throughout the school. Students will gain necessary skills associated with technology to further their education.

Students motivation increases when they are given chances to learn and thrive using "grown up" methods to share their work. Typing and printing their work does just that.
