Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach 5th grade at a Title I elementary campus. My class includes ESL students, MTA students, Special Education students, and Gifted students. My students have access to 1-1 Chromebooks at school although many of them have limited access to technology at home because 90% of them come from low-income households. My district is currently working on getting devices checked out to students for home use since we will be online the first four weeks of school and they will bring the devices back with them in September. This project will help me get resources that are great for distance learning and still perfect for use in the classroom as well!

My Project

I am trying to purchase the 5th Grade Science Penguin Bundle on Teachers Pay Teachers for my class. This resource is packed with engaging activities for the entire year and aligned to the 5th Grade TEKS. It has assignments and vocabulary quizzes for Google Classroom that we can use during distance learning, as well as awesome experiments that we can use when we return to the classroom! It even includes a complete Interactive Notebook this year! I would LOVE to be able to provide my students with these amazing lessons! Thanks!
