This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students are the most grateful children I have met in my educational career. They enjoy every little thing we do for them. Our purpose is to support our students' social-emotional health and sense of belonging with this project. The "Red Carpet Prom" will boost students' moral and mental well-being. Children have been affected negatively by the pandemic; with your support, these underprivileged children (we are a Title I school) will remember this gala as a magical day when their accomplishments were acknowledged and celebrated. We need balloons, decorations, foam cubes, etc. We intend to give our students the chance to develop their social skills, to feel proud and validated so they may continue to strive to get an education and become tomorrow's future professionals.
