My Project
As a 5th-grade teacher in Fort Collins, Colorado, I teach all subjects: Literacy, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Health, etc! I plan to use these materials to create a library of books that are interesting to nonreaders and have stories that represent everyone in my classroom.
I am always looking for books that vary in interest and representation.
Students need books that allow them to connect to characters that look, sound, and act like them.
I also am looking for classroom supplies like privacy folders, student planners, and tri-folds that families have difficulty finding for their students.
