At our school, we serve a population of diverse students who represent many different backgrounds educationally, financially, and culturally. Although, we provide an advanced STEM and magnet curriculum, we also work to create all around successful students in all other subjects.
The students at our school are hardworking and creative students that are constantly being challenged on a daily basis.
We hold our students to a high expectation and the students work and are excited for new challenges that we set forth for them!
My Project
My students need their own individual copy of appropriate nonfiction chapter books to challenge and hopefully develop a lifelong love of reading with and provide them with knowledge of real world events that have happened throughout history.
Please help us close the gap in reading between many students that have occurred over the years and open the door for their love of reading.
The donations would help to provide a class set of novels for each teacher so that students will each have a copy for close reading and reference to taught skills not only in class but at home as well.
