My Students

With budget cuts, less resources, and less money I cannot supply my classroom with many of the things I would love for my students to have to assist them in becoming all that they can be. 5th grade is a critical year where students in Georgia must pass the Reading & Math portion of the CRCT!

I teach 25 wonderful students who are eager to learn, and preparing for middle school.

They all love hands on, group assignments. I want to be able to provide materials for them so that they are empowered to learn. My students need hands on activities, grammar correct and punctuation assistance (magnetic punctuation), and reading comprehension help.

My Project

I am requesting a few items to help with different subjects in our classroom. These will all relate back to and integrate with grammar. 1.) Magnetic Punctuation 2.) Vocabulary Bingo Set 3.) Social Studies Activity Cards 4.) Reading Comprehension Activity Kits. My students will use the magnetic punctuation daily for their Daily Oral Language on the board. My students will use the games, and activity kits weekly to help reinforce what they are learning through the week in direct instruction and guided reading.

My project is important because we are empowering the minds of tomorrow's leaders.

These students need motivation, fun activities, and hands on learning! Only a teacher knows what their students need to be successful. If I am teaching the way I should, the students are practicing at home, and we have these resources, we can all succeed!
