Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The floor pillows, dice, and math games in this project will help me to give great team building learning experiences for my 5th graders as I teach them math. My goal is to take math and make it significantly less scary for them, as well as give them tools to help build their skills and knowledge.
By having these learning experiences available in the classroom, we can take the anxiety out of math and give the students a chance to have fun and learn together.
These tools are going to give a great last elementary year experience to students in a low income school before math gets tougher in middle school. Thank you!
