This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom library is a place I hope my students find joyous. It is a place where they can escape their reality and dive into a book of their choice. All these books have been chosen with my student's interests in mind. Choosing diverse literacy options will encourage students' independent reading time in and out of the classroom. These new books will continue their engagement in reading and allow them to grow as readers by providing leveled books. My students are very interested in reading and my hope is for these new books to continue expanding their reading ability.
