My Project
These books will help build a classroom library for a first year teacher with little to no age appropriate books for students to free read. Each set I selected was chosen based on the age and interests of my students, and I think they will absolutely love to read these during our independent reading time. I can utilize them for class read alouds as well as formulating lessons to engage my students. My goal is to nurture a love for reading that will spark a passion in my students, helping them grow beyond their wildest dreams and to their fullest potential. I want them to get excited to choose a new book!
My students are curious, creative, and kind.
They come into my room every day excited to learn and I want to give them the proper tools to do so. Not only will the books aid in this, but the headphones will open up opportunities for my English Language Learners who will greatly benefit from hearing books read aloud to them as they listen. This is a great tool for developing proficiency in a new language! Your support would be so greatly appreciated.
