This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every year the 5th graders get assigned a state to research. To show off everything they have learned, they each create a float out of a shoe box. These floats are so much fun to see the students get creative and show off their knowledge in a fun way.
Often these projects require extra materials that I would like to provide for them so their floats can be as fun and creative as possible.
Your donation will help me support their creative minds in this fun, hands on project. Almost all of these project materials are not reusable so I have to replenish these fun items yearly.
My students are able to show off their fun floats to the whole school and their families on our state float day. It is a fun tradition that our students look forward to doing each year.
