Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We just recently started our Lending Library for the New Year and Oh My, has it been a huge success! Our students are allowed to pick a book to bring home for the week and read with their families and after this week, it seemed like the Five-Minute Story reads couldn't stay on our book cart for long!

Reading to young children helps with developing language acquisition, social and communication skills, as well as helps build upon their literacy skills.

That is why I am requesting a variety of five-minute stories such as "Trolls," "Thomas and Friends," "Lego Stories," as well as "CoComelon" to help build on our Lending Library and allow students the chance to bring these exciting and fun stories home with them to share with their loved ones!

I am not only requesting 5-Minute Stories but also a set of Squigz toys for my students to utilize during centers, we borrowed these toys from the other preschool classroom and my students loved them! Lastly, I am requesting a set of toy cars, since our students love the block center and there are never enough cars for all of them!
