My Students

I teach a fourth grade class in the Ferguson Florissant School District. My class economic background is low income which qualifies them for free and reduced lunch. Their economic status does not define their learning abilities. My Scholars enjoy learning new skills and show up to school daily whether virtual or in-person willing to accept the challenge for the day. My Scholars faced many challenges last school year with lack of supplies, so as a teacher I met parents at the library quarterly to give Scholars what they needed to help them be successful in their learning process.

"This school year, my Scholars want to start the academic year off strong and ready to learn".

This year my Scholars will have a fresh start academically. They will have the opportunity to review previously skills and embark upon the opportunity to be successful with learning new skills. My Scholars stress level of learning will be curved this year because they will have the tools needed for daily learning to take place.

My Project

I know these supplies seem basic but the basics can make the difference in a Scholar being successful. These supplies will help my Scholars to be organized during classroom learning and help them build a sense of belonging to a community classroom. My Scholars will be able to take notes in class, create interactive notebooks (that will aid them in being lifelong learners) and experience hands-on activities to enhance learned skill in class. The hands-on creations will be a display for others to see the skill mastery that my Scholars have achieved!
